Mount Batur Homestay

The room was immaculate and super comfortable. WiFi, hot/cold shower, modern bathroom, comfortable bed, patio doors and an outside terrace with amazing views of Mt Batur. Breakfast was delicious (pancakes or omelettes with tea/coffee). Tea and coffee and water was available 24/7. The staff were very lovely and welcoming the entire time - kindly gave us a lift on check-out, helped us with our bags at check-in and check-out, offered us a nice hot drink upon arrival (which was really appreciated after a travel day!) and offered lots of information about the area - with tours available to the hot springs, coffee plantation, Mt Batur and more! Would really recommend!! Thank you for the loveliest stay! :)

It is located in a very calm and quiet area , it provides a nice view of the mount Batur . The beds are comfy , and the host is always making sure you are all right, offering you tea or coffe. There is a water dispenser to fill up your bottles . There is a kettle in the room, the breakfast is included and you can purchase meals at the spot, they will cook something fresh for you.

Have in mind the location is perfect if you are looking for quiet nights, so you will need a scooter or driver (Komang can offer his services) to go to different places around. In overall all good.

Simples, aber sehr sauberes und angenehmes Zimmer. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unschlagbar, da sogar ein kleines Frühstück im Preis enthalten ist. Es gibt einen kleinen Garten und Aussenbereich, wo man wunderbar sitzen kann um auf Mt. Batur zu blicken. Die Lage ist zwar etwas außerhalb, dafür aber schön ruhig zwischen Feldern gelegen. Die oftmals erwähnten Fliegen fand ich wirklich nicht so schlimm, schaltet man den Deckenventilator im Essbereich an, war das Problem quasi behoben. Das Beste an der Unterkunft ist aber die Gastgeberfamilie. Sie sind überaus hilfsbereit, organisieren Touren und Transport und sie sind mehr als freundlich! Komang bot mir mehrfach an mich an verschiedene Orte zu bringen, da ich selbst keinen Roller hatte. Man kann hier also auch übernachten, wenn man nicht selber Roller fährt ohne das Gefühl zu haben permanent in der Pampa festzusitzen. Komang organisierte die Wanderung auf den Mt. Batur und auch meine Weiterreise. Ich liebe lokales Nasi Campur, sogar das hat er für mich besorgt und am Abend ein wunderbares Essen aufgetischt, das eigentlich nicht offiziell im Homestay angeboten wird. Und das ohne eine Bezahlung zu veranschlagen. Man kann auch einfach mal zwischen durch mit ihm quatschen und hat immer eine gute Zeit! Er ist wirklich bereit die Extra-Meile für seine Gäste zu gehen und schreibt Gastfreundschaft groß! Für mich macht das am Ende den Unterschied! Ich habe mich hier super wohlgefühlt! Ich kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen, ich würde hier jederzeit wieder übernachten!

Es liegt wie gesagt etwas außerhalb, aber Komang ist jederzeit aufgelegt zu helfen und Transport zu organisieren. Wer fit auf dem Roller ist, sollte gar kein Problem haben!

I had a very pleasant stay at this accommodation. I felt very comfortable and safe in Komang's accommodation. The view from the homestay of Mt Batur was amazing! Drinking tea/coffee sitting on the bench felt surreal. Komang provided transport to places I wanted to go, along with providing some great recommendations. The food options were great aswell and well priced. I had a great time in the homestay and getting to know Komang and the culture of Bali, particularly Kintamini. Everyone is so friendly.

Everything was to my liking. A fan was provided promptly when requested. The owner went out of his way to make sure my stay was great. I highly recommend this homestay.
