DIRTY, SCAM; AWFUL

NOTHING WAS GOOD! RUN AWAY! WE NOT STAY THERE!

It was an awful expierence, you cannot sleep in that houses, they smell so bad and are with no zircon, also nothing is nearby so you are forced to eat there, we left without even staying there night! RUN!! other you can also leave only the place than with a cab, what they want to offer you :) RUNN!!

Quiet place. Good place for a rest before leaving with the jeep.

You could hear everything from the next cabin. Luckily they went to bed on time.

perfect location to enjoy more deeply the area of Batur

The bamboo cabins are pretty close to climb Mount Batur, which means you can start a bit less early than all the tourists making the day trip from Ubud or other locations. It means you can also make a longer walk to enjoy a bit more the views and being outside of the crowds. Our host proposed us several formulas and we were very happy with our certified guide Made who was very nice and eager to show us the area.

Woke up to a rat on the bedside table…

The location is convenient if your planning on hiking up Mt Batur. The area is very nice. The host is polite and welcoming, and offered information about Mt Batur.

We woke up in the middle of the night to find a rat on the bedside table, 30cm away from my face. We tried to scare it away but it kept returning through the night. We couldn’t stand it, so we left at 4am. You can hear the rats in the bathroom ceiling. The images on the listing don’t represent what to property is like. It’s not well maintained and the facilities are pretty dirty.

incredibly close to the Mount Batur trekking this is the perfect location to stay. The host is also very well connected and can help organise a tour guide for you if you require one.

There is no door to the bathroom that is the only downside but everything else was good.

Not a good choice

The staff was very helpful and organized a transport for us when gojek and grab failed. Breakfast was okay Hot water in the shower

The place is literally in the middle of nowhere,if you plan a trip to Mt.Batur or surroundigs, rather stay in a bigger city and drive there. There were almost no facilities around,it was impossible to get gojek or grab there, almost no restaurants and those that were open were terrible, hard to rent a motorbike, however they charged you "well" for everything... The accomodation itself, well, there were tons of annoying flies, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, one literally sank some centimeters when lying on the mattress. Bathroom was kind of funny, indoor/outdoor (there was soil and flowers, not a floor). And you could not turn the lighz in the bathroom off :D It was also quite noisy,which we did not expect in the mountain area and daily sunrise trips to Mt Batur start at the cabin, so sometime around 3-4 am, 3 minibuses spit chatting people out.The first night my girlfriend barely slept.

Love everything! To be honest, when u choose this homestay please do not expect a 3 or 4 star services/ facilities, this is a homestay, let urself blend in with local standard then u will find this place amazing!

The only thing I less expected was the cold shower. But it was pretty good experience taking super cold shower in a super cold night 😂
