Beautiful cottages outside Kintamani

Cute little cottages. The rooms were very clean and had everything you need. I am beyond grateful to Ketut & his wife, I was very ill and had to go to clinic while I was there, they took excellent care of me. If I was well enough, Ketut was able to organize local tours in the area that I wish I was able to go. Good breakfast as well.

Amazing stay with great food and hospitality.

I had an amazing stay at Bunbula Panorama – truly the highlight of my Bali trip as a solo traveller. Out of all the places I stayed, this was the best experience. Kakut went above and beyond to arrange unforgettable activities for me – from the sunset hike at Mt Batur, to exploring Mt Trunyan with the most wonderful guides, the unique Trunyan burial ritual, and relaxing in the hot springs. Every moment felt thoughtfully organised and truly special. The food was another highlight. Widi prepared the most delicious breakfasts – I can honestly say the pancakes were some of the best I’ve ever had! Made me feel so cared for and at home. This place gave me not just comfort but also warmth and connection. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for making my Bali journey so memorable. - Naveen

Overall, our stay there was great. We really enjoyed the view, the activities like sunrise trekking(exploration) and ATV

The host and his family were all very friendly and kind. They made us feel so welcomed. They assisted us with booking the activities that we can do in Kintamani. They also arrange transportation for us which is very important. We truly enjoyed our stay there because of them. The place was clean, has very spacious room and toilet/shower area and there’s nearby restaurants to have lunch/dinner. Overall, great service and will definitely recommend to anyone.

Probably the fruit flies. The area is surrounded by plantations of different vegetables and fruits so it’s just common. Honestly, I’m not even bothered by them.

Lovely night in Kintamani!

Incredible view, just like the photos. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. The breakfast was very good. We wished we had one more day to enjoy the view from bed!

Beautiful view and lovely owners!

The owners were amazing! So helpful — providing bottled water, cooking breakfast, and setting up a Mt. Batur sunrise hike for us. They made sure we were comfortable and happy the entire time. Plus, the view was incredible! Very spacious bathroom too. And the restaurant for other meals was right next door with affordable prices. Would definitely stay here again.

The only slight downside is that the doors don’t fully close, so it can be a bit noisy at night. I wore ear plugs and had no issue with noise. There were only a few bugs in the room (way fewer than I expected) and there was a bed bug net.

Great location and the villas are very nice for a couple. The bedroom and bathroom were very spacious and clean made the stay very comfortable.

Great view to vocano, good at its price

Hoyel located near close to Batur, but the road to hotel is not so good. The room was almost good at its price, unfortunately, the room don't have air conditioner, it was lots of insects inside. The most great was the view from the room - you can see whole volcano Batur and it was exciting.

A lot of insects, the room was not locked by the key cause of door problems, not so easy to reach hotel.

Superb

The view from my room was amazing💙 The stuff super friendly. Food delicious. Lady who was cooking was very nice. One time I came really late, I thought kitchen is still open. I saw her getting ready to finish,but she said that she will make something for me😍 She asked if I like coconut and she made really delicious meal (typical for Bali). Transport to wherever I wanted to go was organize quickly. I was thinking to stay one more night but they were fully booked. Is says a lot about the place 💙✨

The shower in my second room was a little blocked I think,coz I couldn't use it with full power. In the first room on my arrival was great. But I believe this is something easy to be fixed. I even didn't say anything about it to my hosts because it didn't bother me that much.

Lovely view

We loved the view from our bed it was amazing to see the volcano. Also the breakfast was lovely and stuff was very helpful.

We didn’t like that the door couldn’t close completely so there was cold and also many bugs and flies, they were falling down from the big light to the bed we had to shake them off.

Great place to stay for hiking or views of Batur

The view is amazing, staff is friendly and very quick to respond

The bed is a bit hard, and there was a large gap in the doors, and since it was very windy during our stay a lot of insects and sorts where blown into the room. It wasn't really an issue for us, but some might not like it.

Exceptional

I would 10000% recommend this magical spot to ANYONE, and this will be the place we stay near Mt. batur from now on! The staff is amazing. So kind, helpful, and makes you feel right at home. They went above and beyond! Ketut can also arrange trekking / activities for you. The room and view is to die for. We were absolutely blown AWAY by the Mountain View from the property and the rooms! This place is like no other! They have created a beautiful mountain gem oasis that we are so grateful to have been able to experience. Thank you so much Ketut and family for making our stay so specifically and beautiful.

Friendly and accommodating staff

Very friendly and accommodating host. By mistake, I booked 2 nights but arrived one day later and therefore we could stay only 1 night in the booked room. He offered us another room for free for the second night but we decided to leave. Dinner ordered good but prices a bit too high for the food. Organization of trekking tour very good. Payment by credit card of final bill very advanced. We asked for laundry, that was arranged, fast and cheap. As mentioned, owner very friendly and accommodating but it would be great to take care more of the things I mentioned in the "negative" section.

Soap dispenser in bathroom empty, curtains and Moskito net spotty. No electric fan. Many flies. We know it's not their fault but it comes with the location and therefore more points can't be given. Lots of noise from the community below - motor bikes, karaoke and due to the missing fan the doors had to be open, otherwise too hot. We are staying in another small resort this night, same price, but very nice ambiance and a hot spring pool, and an electric fan. So, since we can compare, we compare.

Short overnight stay

This place is good for trekking people for an overnight stop. The view is very nice. You can ask to cook for you at any time that is great when you are tired and don‘t want to search for anything around. The weather in this area is much cooler than anywhere else in Bali. You will have a good sleep.

The view is great

It’s very cold there, one blanket is not enough to keep you warm, hot water is finishing in 2 minutes, the floor is very cold. the room is required to be cleaned every day, because there are a lot of flies and bugs. and when I’m saying a lot I mean HUGE AMOUNT. But the staff is cleaning every day, so it’s nice. The one thing which is really disappointing is the tour to mount Batur, because they said it’s private tour, but we had another couple with us for some reason. So we had to move not with our speed but with the speed of other guys who were really slow. For one million I would expect private tour. Especially when they say that’s it is going to be private. So don’t book guide through them, there are a lot of other guides who will take you for chipper price and will make it only for you group, without strangers.

-very noisy. horrible karaoke very loud. we wanted tranquility and not party mode -only 1 outlet worked - the wind came in through the gaps -no bedsight lamp - please change cold light to warm light - the prices in the restaurant very overpriced for what you get

Highly recommend , the best view and the room is super cosy, would definitely stay again

The place is beautiful with an amazing view, the hosts and staff are very kind, good resto on site and includes water refill with complimentary tea and coffee. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Just a heads up that the valley can be very noisy with local music and temple noise at night, so if you’re a light sleeper make sure you bring some earplugs. The bed is also in the smaller side so make sure you’re happy with cozying up if you’re sharing a room. But definitely no complaints, everything was really great.

The view is awesome. The bed and coffee table is nice and looks modern. The staff is friendly. They were offering us coffee and tea when we arrived.

Every morning the water is off. So we have a little trouble using the toilet. The place was very far from main street.

Bali mountain retreat

Trip was for my son and his mate, both had a room each. He said The hosts were very welcoming and helpful throughout our time in Bali The room was exceptional, comfy bed, amazing views and value for money. Ketut made us feel home from home.

Clarity and serenity in the mountains of Bali.

The most incredible hospitality. A big thank you to Ketut, Annie and Wayan for making my stay so wonderful. The team went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. From organising Mount Batur sunrise hike to freshly cooked meals to personally driving me 30 mins to Kintamani and back so I could see the town and go to one of the fancy restaurants there. I absolutely recommend if you’re wanting to disconnect and your main reason to visit is to do Batur.

The property is located 30 mins from the closest main town with restaurants etc. so it’s not that convenient but the team makes up for that by driving you into town and picking you up with no worries.

Very good

Staff were friendly and offered multiple guide packages for Mount Batur that include breakfast and torchlights. They also have a cheap menu for those who choose to eat right outside their accomodation. The view and atmosphere are quite quiet and relaxing, which makes for a good romantic getaway.

Toilets were a bit small, and the sink was not big either. Water heater only worked for one of the houses, and there were quite a few bugs. However there were nets provided and the staff help to tidy up the rooms

Exceptional

enthusiasts. We booked the Mount Battur Exploration trek with them, after being presented the 4 different options. Our guide was encouraging and knowledgeable, as well as friendly. Wonderful experience all around. The food was nice and the beds were comfortable (which is welcome after a morning hiking up the volcano). Hot water in the shower (be warned you currently have a max capacity of 15L, then it needs to refill the reservoir). The view is also one of the best: Mount Batur straight ahead and lake to the side. Great for sunrise and sunset (romantic). You can also pay with bank/credit card!!

perfect stay in kintamani

The view was incredible. It was a really amazing trip. Wifi worked well, and rarely when out despite the remote location. Room was cleaned every day. Staff also provided offerings on the steps to the room, which kept us safe during our stay there. Kintamini is a wonderful place I hope to come back again. Staff also helped arrange a driver all the way back to Sanur on short notice when our driver cancelled unexpectedly. There are a few other loding options but this one has the best view of them all from what I could tell.

Not a big issue, but it would be better not to give out customer phone number to our driver who called to ask for it, even though it was our driver. It is best to keep guest information confidential and take a message.

For the quiet village farm life experience and location for Mt batur climb, the location is unbeatable. fantastic view of the lake and Mt batur when it's visible. Owner also went out of his way to help u in transport and climb/ activities
