Awful management
It's a lovely house in a great location, but the management staff are terrible. The kitchen/dining/living room is a good size with large dining table. All of the furniture is made of heavy, lumpy wood, so the coffee and dining table are difficult to clean and the wardrobes are very loud. There's no door separating the downstairs from the staircase and hardly any soft furnishings, so sound echoes all through the house. The bathroom and downstairs loo are sleek and modern, but there is a terrible smell coming from the drain. Mattresses and bedding are all clean and comfortable and extra towels etc are provided in the cupboard.
I'm furious that this property has tried to collect €100 for damages due to "smoking in the apartment". None of us smoke and we left the apartment much cleaner than we found it. We bought 3 air fresheners for the very smelly bathroom and caught loads of huge silverfish (approx 1" which is their maximum size) in the kitchen/living room, bathroom, and bedrooms. I've never had this problem in Eindhoven before, but staff just said this was "normal" for the time of year. Also the little gate for the parking space is broken and staff weren't interested in inspecting or fixing it as they claimed someone had checked it the week before. I wasn't going to leave a bad review as other parts of our stay were good, but the staff were so unhelpful and now they've tried to charge me a damage fee! Do not stay here.
