Emerson Spice

Great location, beautiful room very spacious with very high ceilings and great furniture, arranged for airport transfer/guided walk/day car service, very good breakfast on roof. Had dinner one night at the sister hotel Emerson on Hurumzi with great food, music and views.

One issue with running water for a few hours when the national electricity grid had issues. Had plenty of potable water. No elevator so it might be an issue for older travelers but we were fine.

予約したのは1部屋でベット2台の部屋。 ホテル側の都合でその部屋が使えないとの事。 その代わり1人1部屋に変えて下さり、その部屋がめちゃくちゃ広くてゴージャスでした。

エレベーターが無いので、4階の部屋まで階段で登るのはキツかったです。 スーツケースなどの荷物は運んでくれました。

Wonderful authentic place to stay, outstanding service. Very charming and well located.

We stayed in the Violet room and it felt like being in a castle in the old times. Very special, very spacious, the decor was always very particular but in a nice way. It is in the middle of the old town close to the market and other small shops. It is not possible to arrive with the taxi in front of the hotel but this was also ok as the hotel sends somebody to help with the luggage and to arrive at the location. They were really forthcoming as our flight was very late and they offered us a room for late check out without extra costs - thanks. The breakfast was very good with fresh fruits and juice and choice of eggs. The spiced coffee was a highlight (at least for me). There are 2 restaurants - Rooftop which offers only fish dishes and on the ground floor the "Secret Garden Restaurant". We tried the Secret Garden restaurant and it was good but we felt there could have been a bit more choice on the menu. Be aware that there is no lift neither for the rooms nor for the rooftop restaurant - not a problem if you are mobile.
