Emerald Palm Courtyard Hotel

Really good location to explore main attractions, only a 5min walk to the Slavery Exhibition, Jaws Corner and Darajani Market. The hotel is characterful, with traditional courtyard and windows. The rooms were clean and cool, with tea and coffee available and good hot shower which can be hard to find in Stonetown. Breakfast was simple and fresh.

It's good value for money, not the most luxurious, but perfectly good for a one or two night stay. The breakfast courtyard is pretty but very hot, would recommend asking for breakfast under the fans under the covered terrace

Good location but if you want to get directions then search for Zanzibar house, recenter change of nem!

Nothing really, a 3 pin plug location but provided a 2 pin hairdryer!

The hotel is in a 150 year old building, giving it true Stonetown character. Lovely interiors in the bedrooms, with complimentary dates and tea. Good breakfast served fresh to order in the courtyard outside. Hotel is within walking distance to key areas such as the Old Fort and the food market, and the city feels very safe to walk around in. Very friendly and helpful staff who went the extra mile to support us with earlier check in and arranging taxis.

Given the building is old, there are small cracks/gaps around the windows which would allow insects/mosquitos in if you do not spray the room well (there is not mosquito mesh covering these)

Location is super Great. Middle if Stone Town, next to the Fort and Near to Famous The Forodhani. Staying here feels like living in old time and enjoy the local culture like a local. Very safe and convinient to go around and enjoy the food, sunset and historical places. Rooms are quite spacious, average amenity kits but good enough to live with it. Breakfast is good. Helpful Staffs.

Need a Good Renovation of the Hotel. the Staircase is really needing an immediate attention.
