Great traditional zanzibar vibe and a very central location. The front desk were especially friendly and helpful and the rooms were large and full of character.
The view isn't great but that is the same for most hotels in stonetown

Comfortable, beautiful building with really friendly and helpful staff.
The water pump would shut off frequently, and we would be stuck in the washroom without water, which caused a bit of an inconvenience.
