Our check-in was supposed to be at 4 pm. We were told that our room would not be ready until 5:30 at the earliest. We had a restaurant reservation at 6:00 pm for my birthday at the restaurant. We were given a room downgraded at 5 o'clock. When we moved in, there were no toiletries in the bathroom. There was only one robe and no slippers at all. Only after we called, they brought us slippers. We were promised a $100 credit. When we checked out, they refused our credit, saying they couldn't refund it to our card. But we can only use this credit at the hotel. The service at this hotel is extremely poor. The managers are incredibly rude, without even a hint of guilt. I will never stay at this hotel again and I don't recommend it to anyone. The service is worse than in motel.

The rooms are so noisy. Walls are thin, I heard neighbors next to me like they were in my room. The road that the rooms face is busy and loud. The glass doors do not block the sound, which continues all night. Despite the nice bedding it was tough to sleep. Maybe rooms that face a different direction are better, but those on Indian Canyon aren’t good for sleeping.

Property is beautiful and great vibe. Staff was amazing and so friendly and helpful. The Lola Rose lounge was fun day or night. Gym was clean and amenities were great. My only complaint is that The Lola Rose restaurant food was always cold. Very very dog friendly and look forward to staying at the property again soon.

This hotel was a dream. They had an on site vehicle to drive you around town so you would t have to pay for Ubers, restaurants were amazing and the staff very helpful. The only minus was the room cleaning staff could’ve done a bit better.

Incredible hotel with exceptional staff - courteous, friendly, people that add to the beauty of the hotel - one particular that stands out is Greg. He was kind and helpful with anything we needed or wanted to learn more about. Intricately draped in mid-century modern decor - clean and visually interesting. Hotel is run by Noah, the GM, who attentive and on top of client experience - makes all the difference. We love this hotel and can’t wait to go back!

The property and rooms are very nice. Keep in mind, there are no indoor hallways between rooms making it very hot to get from A to B. Room service service was terrible. Very unorganized, testy staff, and being billed for service not ordered or given.

I don’t normally take the time to write reviews but this place was worth noting a few things. I’ve stayed at the Thompson cape in Cabo before and wasn’t sure how this would stack up. It’s not quite as stunning but A+ overall. Property is super new and modern. Room was clean and spacious. We had the balcony “walk up” room that was facing west. I wasn’t sure if walk up meant a first floor “balcony” aka a porch that you can walk up to. Glad it wasn’t. It just means you have to walk up some stairs to get to the room. We had a great balcony overlooking the Main Street and view of the mountains for sunset. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Two pools. One adults only. This place is also dog friendly at no charge which is awesome since we had the dog with us. We got late check out at 1p and were lagging a little. They extended until 2p at no charge. Obviously this is circumstantial and it’s not peak season but still nice. I’ve been at hotels that charge no matter how slow they are. I will definitely be staying here the next time I come back.

Stayed here in July. Upon arrival, all staff was welcoming and kind. Check in was great, as they were able to let us in our room a little earlier. Grounds are immaculate. Pool staff was awesome and pool area was lovely. Rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable. Restaurants on site were excellent!

Had a wonderful stay at the Thompson! The pool area was clean and the service was fast! Would definitely recommend staying here! The front desk staff were fast and efficient. I enjoyed the wine hall!

Stay was great staff was great . Make sure to look at your bank activity after checking out. A random charge of over $100 appeared on my credit card statement after calling to get more info on this charge I was told that it was for the mini bar and peanuts. I just find it absurd that they charged me for things I absolutely did not consume. At check out I told the front desk to go check the room because I do not wanna get charged for the mini bar. I was reassured by the front desk that I would not be getting charged just to end up actually getting charged. After calling accounting, I was told I have to wait about a week to get their mistake rectified since they have to open a case and investigate with the front desk, which is absurd!

Overall the stay was absolutely amazing. The only complaint was after booking through Expedia, it took like 2 hours for the resort to find our reservation and be able to check into our room. The pool area, restaurant, bar, and room were perfect for our getaway. All of the staff, besides the front desk girl (rather rude to us), were 100 percent WONDERFUL!!!
