Disappointing because of the only one bathroom and many things in the flat were not available

We booked a two bedrooms 2 BATHROOMS unit as per the advert on the website and when we arrived we found it was two bedroom and one and a half bathrooms We tried to call Coastal City Vibes they said it was up to Booking.com and we could not get through to you. My 22 year old grandson from Australia had to sleep on the ridiculous bed made for little children and share a bathroom.

Overall a lovely, quiet, safe apartment. Fairly minimalist in terms of amenities.

Being right across the street from the grocery store and near three coffee shops. Being one block from the beach and the walking path. Comfortable bed. The lovely outdoor patio space. Washer/dryer. Being able to extend my stay by a day.

Low water pressure in the kitchen. No dish towel, soap, or sponge for the dishes. The shower leaked toward the door a bit depending on the angle. The elevator wasn't working. The stove was sometimes difficult to start.

Information provided prior to our stay. I struggled to find the place - a drop location on WhatsApp might help and suggestion on parking. Was not easy to find parking nearby. Some info on the safety would help - it was great when some neighbors shared some more info,

It was a neat clean apartment.

Really struggle with communication. Left messages on Booking.com & both the cell numbers provided. I called the numbers, nobody answered/press the red button. Charging R1000 per 15 min late check out fee is ridiculous even when arrangements were made. Struggle getting luggage across busy road to apartment. Not ideal to stay there with large amount of luggage(self catering) because you need to carry a lot of stuff over the busy road to the second floor.

Luxurious Comfort in the Heart of the City

We spent three nights at Coastal City Vibes and were thoroughly impressed. The facilities are excellent, you truly can’t find a single fault with the accommodation. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the bathrooms are modern, spacious, and spotless. This is a genuinely luxurious stay, offering both style and comfort in a beautifully maintained setting. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a premium city break!

When we arrived, there was no one to greet us, and we hadn’t received any instructions on how to check in, which left us stranded. None of the provided contact numbers were answering, including those listed by the booking agent. Eventually, the property caretaker, who was not directly affiliated with the host, helped us get in touch with someone. We were then told there had been a double booking, and a back-and-forth discussion followed. It was also only at that point that we were informed there was also no secure parking available for the accommodation. After a few hours, the situation was finally resolved and we were granted access to the property and the owner offered to pay our parking in the parkade across the street. Thankfully, the rest of the stay was great, but the arrival experience definitely needs improvement.
