This was a great location and accommodation for us to use as a base whilst visiting family in the area.

An outside light so we could read the numbers on the lockbox when arriving after dark. Also, a second set of keys would have been handy.

How clean it was

Unfortunately, our stay was far from ideal. From the moment we walked in, the entire house felt like a trip hazard – uneven flooring and tight spaces made it difficult to move around safely. The kitchen was extremely small, more akin to what you’d expect in a caravan. It was very cramped with little to no counter space, making meal preparation a challenge. The toilet seat was poorly fitted and uncomfortable to use, which was frustrating. On the top floor, the bedroom light shade was hung far too low — I hit my head on it multiple times. It’s a very poor design choice that needs to be addressed. The first floor bedrooms were also very cramped, especially between the beds — there’s not much room to move around at all. To add to the discomfort, the neighbors were quite unpleasant. We understand this is a rented property, but the woman living directly across from us was unnecessarily rude and impatient during our interactions, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. Overall, this property needs significant improvement in both design and safety to make it a welcoming and functional space.

The control of heating, it was warm upstairs and cold downstairs.
