We liked the location in relation to getting to local shops and restaurants

The road this property is on is extremely busy, on a hill, and has hardly any parking spots available. I am disabled and there were no disabled spots. The information for the free parking lot nearby were a bit confusing too. You can park for a max of 12 hours in a 24 hour period but there are no cameras or ticket machines to prove how long you were there or if there are any hours that aren't in force. The welcome pack in the cottage are out of date too. The WiFi details need updating The cottage needs a better cleaner as there were cobwebs everywhere and little spiders all over! The bath hadn't been cleaned as there was a scum line in it when I tried to bathe. There were a lot of stains in the lounge carpet and it smelt so strongly of wet dog, I had to buy some febreze to try and get rid of the smell! On the whole we had a great weekend but I was disappointed with the cottage for the price I paid.

Clean with good beds, easy to walk to restaurants

Parking is only available on street or car parks but there is parking on streets opposite

It was self catering which suited us and we could choose what we wanted to eat and when we wanted to. We had hired a large car so we were out every day and we had the American part of our family with us and they enjoyed it tremendously and liked being in the Cotswolds. The beds were comfortable and the house was very nice too.

Now I have to say this and am sorry but the owners MUST do something about the rope holder on the stairs to the bedrooms. They were quite steep stairs and we had mixed ages - old and young adults - but obviously the rope did not fit through the rings meant for it so it had been cut at each ring and only the strands fitted through and fastened down. An accident waiting to happen. It is a shame and possibly the fault of the holiday management team not the owner but please look at that because the house is lovely and this is a big detraction from that.

Bedrooms were comfotable and the location was ideal for getting in and out of local town.

It was generally quite grubby and scruffy, and the outdoor area was not maintained.
