Great work stay in Swindon in a comfortable apartment

Parking was great, finding & getting into the apartment was slightly harder but I called and found it with a bit of assistance, spacious apartment with easy to operate heating, location predominantly quiet I hardly heard the neighbours in the other apartments, kitchen had enough equipment for my lone stay, huge TV that I managed to use without logging onto a streaming service, shops and restaurants within walking distance. If I’m working in this area again I would like to stay here again

Clearer instructions to the location of the apartment as it’s not obvious until you get through the wooden gate, a handle on the inside of the front door to assist with opening it as it’s swollen with the wet weather and therefore difficult to open and close, descaling the kettle (I did it before I could use it) and the waterfall shower a bit more often, and a clothes airer as there’s no where to hang wet washing

Cute and clean

Had difficulty locating the apartment and getting the keys but host was patient in working through it with us and ultimately we were successful. Apartment is immaculate and location is good. Be sure to visit steam museum here. It is wonderful.

Decent Stay for Leisure, But Not Ideal for Work Trips

The flat was clean and looked exactly like the photos. It’s in a good central location with free parking, which was convenient. The space was bright and nicely decorated, and overall it was comfortable for a short stay.

There was some trouble with the lock when trying to secure the door from the outside. It always worked fine from the inside, but on the first and second day I couldn’t properly lock it when leaving. The host later offered an extra key, but it was still inconvenient not knowing if I could lock the property when going out. The listing also mentioned a coffee machine, but there wasn’t one. There were no hand towels or bath mat, and only two small bath towels were provided. The most frustrating part was the response around the invoice. I explained that I needed one for a work trip and provided clear screenshots showing that Booking.com does not issue invoices, only payment confirmations. Despite this, the host was dismissive and insisted they were right, showing no willingness to even consider the possibility that they were mistaken. I’ve used Booking.com many times for business, and every other host has provided an invoice without issue.

Overall worth it for a great location if you need the town centre

Clean, nice layout, lots of space, bath AND shower Great parking Luxurious fittings - felt indulgent, which we loved

No instructions for anything - couldn’t get microwave to work, no idea how TV worked (we dont have sky at home), washing machine, oven, safe not bolted down Fridge wasn’t switched on when we arrived so was hard to chill anything until the next day One small, used/dirty sponge for washing up so we bought our own
