Not for me- basic and slightly grungy.

The owner was easy to communicate with beforehand.

The downstairs was dingy and gave off student vibes. The 2 flights of stairs were narrow and steep- so hard to lug suitcases up. The bathroom was dusty especially around the shower and skirting boards. The bedsheets were not ironed and there was a load of washing in the machine. It could do with a small armchair for comfort. The neighbours in the apartments below me had a huge shouting match at 12.30am and there was a strong smell of weed emanating upstairs. I would avoid this if you are a single female traveller.

Smell at entrance, mismanagement, shower tray issues.

First of all, the 2nd floor loft studio was booked, but on arrival, my room was changed to the ground floor due to mismanagement by Nick. Ground floor room , alarm batteries were finished, and it was beeping again and again. Nick told me to buy batteries from Coop, and then he transferred the amount to my account, and i managed to put new batteries in the smoke alarm. The shower tray was filling up, and it was total blockaged. Worst experience ever.

Very good

Nice and cozy room, central position (I didn't have a car and I could walk everywhere in 10-15'), supermarket just adjacent. Ideal for one person who's planning to spend most of the time outside and needs a comfy base. The communication with the host was excellent.

fantastic little spot. all in one studio apartment and it works really well. perfect for the solo traveller

good location. clean and tidy. small and perfect. all the facilities. this is the second time I have stayed here and I really love it. would definitely stay again.

main light is a bit low and I kept bumping my head on the light shade. bedside light is at the end of the bed! perhaps an extension cable under the bed to the beside might help.

Pleasant enough, for the price and location

No breakfast.

Things hanging from the ceiling. The toilet brush holder, full of dirty water. Outside was full of rubbish, overflowing, I took my rubbish elsewhere. Parking out back, I felt like I was asking a favour from the people who owned to souped up bmw.

Underwhelming

Aesthetically, it was pleasing.

The biggest problem was the bed. There was multiple slats misssing and sleeping on the bed was near impossible. I dropped a text to the owner and received no reply, not that I would expect them to come and fix the bed at 10pm but more that the room wouldn’t be listed with such a huge flaw. I ended up sleeping on the floor as a substitute, obviously far from ideal. Affitonally the bin had not been emptied, the toilet rolls were half used and there’s a boiler on a lift room so don’t expect it to be a cool nights sleep. This review is for the loft room.

A waste of my time and money, has alienated me completely to booking.com

The fact the big country, a film I enjoy, was on tv, the handy parking. My car considered it thoughtful that a mattress was left there for it to lie on should it have chosen.

The stench of stale tobacco, the bed that felt like it had no mattress, the steep stairs, the damage to the wall inside the door, the bloke in the next house with his disco and his dog barking incessantly. These things can irritate an old bloke of 78. I stayed a short while then I locked up and left, put the keys back in the safe and drove home. The room itself was really as described, I should have been more cautious about the second floor but I needed somewhere affordable to me at the last minute. It didn't suit me.

I liked the location very close to town and some amenities.

It would be beneficial to put some details such as WiFi on a sheet on the table. The mattress definitely needs upgrading got a sore back within night 1.

Nice, clean place on a budget.

I rented the place for 2 nights to attend the airshow, the location was very good 15-20 mint walk from city center or the bus/train station. There is a nice Co op market next door which was very handy. Place was super clean, has all amenities you could need, fridge, microwave, electric hub, kitchen utilities. . Bathroom was clean with good foot shower and good water pressure. TV with satellite channels and comfy bed. Small fan which kept me a life, as it is a loft and it happened I was visiting during the hottest week of the year. Towels were provided. Sofa which i think could be turned into a bed, Small table and a chair. Really enjoyed the stay. Thank you.

The floors were squeaky. The main house front door lock wasn't locking.

Superb

It was good, very clean, easy to find and to check in, very friendly and hospitable, very confortable, a thing that would make the place perfect is a better mattress but I understand that everyone has their own preferences, all in all, I’ll stay again, thank you ever so much. Very pleasant .

The bed + mattress but fir one night ok. Not a criticism just a comment as mattress are a very personal thing, please stay to see his good this place is.

Below expectation

Overall facilities is quite complete. Also comes with parking (on street or back of flat), which seems to be limited in that area. Overall is clean and shower is good.

The bed was in a terrible condition, the divan frame is broken and mattress is really tired. Not enough hangers for clothes and some of them were broken too. Just one chair for dining. It feels like not good value overall, but not a regular visitor at Swindon to make fair judgement.

it was amazing value for money, it had a lot of necessity and etc.

the walls are a bit thin, and there’s a family upstairs with a baby and dog so they could be heard, it was also a bit of a distance from any stations but otherwise amazing value for money
