    Really enjoyed my stay at SSH LK Hotel as a first time traveller. The complimentary breakfast was great, and the location couldn't be better. It's very close to the airport bus stop, subway stations, and local bus stops. Having Gwangjang Market so close by was an added bonus! Will definitely consider staying here again.

    We went to this hostel for 2 nights. And I definitely recommend going somewhere else, even though it might be a bit more per night. Long story short: it’s really small, the mattress is very hard (almost like the ground, it hurt)it also had a yellow stain, the window is against another building so no fresh air or sunlight, the AC drain pipe ends in the bathroom so it’s always wet, the TV sounds turns off suddenly, the shower suddenly gets really hot sometimes and the floor is broken. Not like the pictures at all.

    Before booking this hostel, I spent a long time comparing options because competition in Seoul is honestly brutal. There are countless rooms in the same price range offering more or less the exact same things. In the end, what convinced me to book this place was the location: very close to the subway and especially to the airport bus stop. Unfortunately, those turned out to be the only real advantages of this hostel. The room I stayed in had a fake window, something that was not clearly specified in the listing. Because of that, there was almost no air circulation and the room became extremely hot. Sleeping at night was nearly impossible between the noise from the fridge, the bathroom, and the air conditioner. On top of that, since there is no real window, you basically have to choose between complete darkness or sleeping with the lights on. The towels were ridiculously small and not suitable at all. The bathroom was so old and worn out that it looked dirty even when it probably wasn’t, and the entire space felt very claustrophobic. Another unpleasant surprise: after arriving at the hostel following a 24-hour journey, it took me around 20 minutes just to get into my room because the self check-in instructions were inaccurate. Thankfully, someone replied quickly on WhatsApp and helped me immediately. To sum it up: the only genuinely good things about this hostel are the location and the kitchen, which at least has the basic essentials to cook a quick meal.
