OYO Hostel Dongdaemun1

It was comfortable, it feels like home away from home. I love that the best was so soft and comfy. If I don't have places to go I would have stayed all day in bed. And its so near in the bus stop and airport stop as well. And I jjust forgot to ask her name, but the lady on duty in the reception was so nice 💜

I love everything about it. But I hope you can do something about luggages. Honestly, I think I haven't researched or read much before booking but I haven't seen that there were no elevators. For someone who always travels with big luggage it's really hard to bring mine all the way to 4th floor.

The location

The location was great, very close to the metro and central but not right in the craziness of the city. Everything was clean and the facilities were great. Would very happily stay here again.

The room was small, and the bed was very hard, and the air con wasn’t functioning but, we made it work.

It was central in terms of metro stations & buses.

The property was unmanned after 6 pm when the staff left for the day (the 1 staff - receptionist is there from 10am-6pm. After 6 pm, anyone could take the elevator up to the guest house which is located on the 4th & 5th floor, and enter, since the guest house did not have a passcode for guests to use to enter after 10 pm. So I think it would be safer for guests if the guest house had a passcode to enter after 10 pm - 10 am (when the staff arrives.) The kitchen rectangular sponge to clean the dishes when I arrived was completely old and looked dirty. I brought this to the attention of the front desk who promptly told the 1 cleaning staff to throw it away, the next day, a new kitchen sponge was in the sink for the guest house customers to was their own plates/bowls/mugs. The receptionist that supervised the cleaner should know to dispose of old and dirty looking sponges & replace with new ones, I feel. Without the customer having to alert the them.
