This lodging is an exceptional option for female travelers. The location is amazing — Gwangjang market has all your needs (not only food—and yes you can even find a fresh veggies vendor if you look closely—but also for all your gift and beauty needs). The subway is steps away, and you can take either airport limo or the AREX Express option if you study where the subway elevator is — Exit 8). I enjoyed visits to local Buddhist temple, the royal palace grounds and traditional Korean village district. Everything was within 15-20 min by bus, and if I had more time I would have also walked especially to the Seoul City Wall trail. Most importantly, the owner Jay and her daughter Joy were both welcoming and friendly, committed to excellent service and available for any questions. Joy speaks English quite fluently and Jay’s bright spirit shines through any language barriers.

I was very curious about the “capsule” model for lodging and it definitely looked just like the pics! The aesthetic is clean/minimalist but as I am more practical, I will suggest to Jay that they consider putting up more hooks for people to hang stuff in their individual capsules. The design overall is very efficient with the bathrooms and showers. The washer and dryer was really really nice to have available. Also remember there are 3 flights of stairs, so just plan not to arrive too late if possible and they will help if they are around.
