    We had a lovely stay at the hotel : it's very close to two subway stations, so it was very easy to travel to all other parts of the city we wanted to visit. The rooms are nice enough, and the smart TV allows you to use the Netflix app instead of being restricted to German TV. We really enjoyed the tablefootball and other available games in the lobby. The only real drawback is the AC/climate system: during our stay it was 20-23 degrees in Hamburg, so not very warm, but inside the hotel it was notably warmer and more humid than outside. The rooms are equipped with a panel which allows you to change the temperature - 3 to -+3 degrees, and select fan speed, but this really did not seem to do anything apart from making a bit of sound: as a result, our room felt a bit muggy during our stay. During warmer periods, this would definitely have been uncomfortable.

    The public places look good, breakfast was ok and the staff accomodating enough. However, the room design is just ridiculous. We stayed in a comfort twin room, which is fairly small. The entrance to the bathroom is from the bed side, with a sliding glass door. No privacy and no sound insulation between bathroom and bedroom. The yellow sofa is just in the way and adds no value. We were constantly tripping over each other. It was also noisy inside and out. A hotel’s core business is to ensure people sleep well, which this one did not do for us. Will not return.
