Overall it is still a decent place and would recommend staying here as some of the above mentioned complaints are not so

The live music is a great touch . It is comfortable place with a huge common area with a bar . In the dormitory it was great to have the bathroom and toilet separate.

The guest kitchen did not have any cutlery or utensils . I had already paid in full but was still charged a small amount on arrival but wasn’t told what the charge was for. I also had my food stolen from the communal fridge in spite of being labeled which was disappointing. This is more of a vent as one of the fellow travellers was using the dorm as his personal space and had his stuff strewn not only all over the room but also in the bathroom . Additionally he would eat in the dorm and leave leftovers for days which would then start to smell .

Very disappointed with the attention received, the girl who was at the reception, blonde with black and large glasses, did not know how to solve anything for me. In theory, customer reception is to help and look for what best suits the client. I asked him to help me get a bigger room, which I didn't want to share and wanted a single room, he didn't know how to help me because everything had to be done online. The truth is the first time that to make a room change I have to do it by "booking". I didn't like the attention received, he didn't serve me well or make an effort. For me, customer service is being there to help and find the solution to the problems in the best way, she didn't. In addition to being far from the centre, it was cold in the room, the windows were not airtight so you could hear all the noise of the main road that passes by and the very thin mattress (as if to have back pain). I ended up paying for another new room even having a reservation made for not having reception assistance. I would not repeat and would not recommend it.

Fine for a hostel, but needs more information and cleaning

Nice and helpful staff. The location was pretty good with trains nearby.

No key cards for self-check-in, but staff provided them when asked. No information on WiFi or breakfast to be found anywhere, so had to ask about that as well. The rooms were very dusty, especially behind the TV and other slightly hidden places. Beds were hard, but that was to be expected at a hostel.

Nice but a bit overpriced

The room was very clean and the location was good, very close to train and subway and overall close to the city centre. There were pool tables, other games, a living room and lots of space for you to relax and enjoy yourself at the hostel.

The room was a bit overpriced for what it was. Also the stuff never explained us the deposit method (which we don’t have in my country), therefore we ended up paying more money for drinks. Some of the stuff was really friendly and others were less, but the problem was that some of the stuff didn’t know how to speak English very well if not at all, so communication was a bit difficult sometimes and I find it weird for a big European Hostel company with many apartments all over Europe to have employees that don’t speak English and therefore cannot assist the customers properly.

Very good

The room was clean with comfortable beds for all 4 of us. The rooftop view was spectacular and a nice treat although it was raining during the times we were there. We also liked the free luggage room (or you could pay for a locker) to leave our bags while we explore on our last day.

If we had to say....the neighborhood is blah, not so interesting. Bathroom had stains here and there, nothing big. Always a lot of people and their kids around the reception area checking in/out, although the lines do move along and our own check-in/out was efficient by the time it was our turn.

Big lobby, fast check in with a machine, fast check out (just dropped the key in a box)

The bathroom inside the room is too noisy and too small, the "locker" under the bed was broken and I couldn't open it because there was another bed super close to mine, so I had to push that bed to be able to use the broken locker!! There was food abandoned on the tables, almost no staff. Outside it was like 12°C and inside the room was an oven, suuuper hot, it was difficult for me and my friend to get some sleep. Also the area it looked a little bit dangerous for women, maybe it's just a feeling and nothing happen, but you never know. Luckily, we stayed only 1 night

The room was too hot, an air conditioner is necessary in summer. During booking process I didn't see any mention that the room was mixed (gender). The bed I got was advertised as single bed but in reality it was part of a double bed with two mattresses and I ended up sharing that double bed with opposite gender person.

The lader to the upper bunk bed was broken, it was challenge and unsafe to get up. There wasn't lockers for everyone, 6 beds to 3 lockers only!

Crowd at the breakfast. Only took a piece of bread with the cheese. Nothing else was available for 10Euro!
