Wenn man den Anweisungen der rechtzeitig verschickten E-Mail Folge leistet, findet man das versteckt gelegene Häuschen hoch oben im Felsen - und wird verzaubert! Die Aussicht auf das Städtchen Barmouth/Abermaw, seinen Strand und das Meer ist atemberaubend, und spätestens nach dem ersten Sonnenuntergang will man hier nicht mehr weg. Das Haus ist gross genug für maximal vier Personen, sehr vollständig und hochwertig ausgestattet, man muss einfach einigermassen fit sein, um den Aufstieg zu bewältigen, vor allem mit Gepäck - Rucksack empfohlen, denn: mit Auto vorfahren geht hier nicht!

Es hat noch kaum eine Unterkunft gegeben, die wir so ungern nach sechs Tagen verlassen haben - wir werden wiederkommen!

Great view, hard to beat. Lovely character cottage with history. All facilities you would need. Located in heart of Barmouth. The views do however outweigh the negative points. We loved it

The walk to the property is difficult if you have mobility issues. Also very difficult to find as no signs for the cottage, we spent a long time finding this and had to contact the owner. The bath/shower thermostat was not working so couldn't not control the water temperature. Rubbish removal requires taking down to communal bins which we could not locate and had to use public bins.

Cottage is restored beautifully and views are just stunning. We had the best time ever.

Everything was lovely, but would prefer clearer directions to the cottage…owner was extremely helpful and navigated me really well. The best way is to get up the hill by entry between pharmacy and kebab shop… opposite of central carpark( this is not carpark where you park with car permit). Walk up the hill- with lovely new house in front of you.. turn right around this house, then slight right again, you will pass some cottages on your right and left… then you will find yourself on crossroads where you take path on left… grass path.. you will then see your beautiful cottage in front of you about 20-30 meters up this path. This is definitely not for less able people as you cannot bring car to the cottage but views are breathtaking and so worth of getting there up the hill. We would love to come back to this gorgeous place.

Location perfect for views.

Filthy windows in dining area which we had to clean to see out. Faulty light switches-bedside light and landing light. Broken blinds. No instructions for dishwasher.M/wave controls dodgy. Outside area in need of a tidy up. Access extremely difficult-couldn’t park anywhere near to unload and no signage to property that we found.
