Goronwy Cottage is a beautifully presented, Grade II listed property with views over the sea and Mawddach Estuary in Barmouth. It boasts 5 bedrooms to sleep 9 in total; a king-size, a double, and second floor double, all with en-suite shower rooms, as well as a single and children's bunk room. There is also a bathroom, a second floor TV room, a boot room and cloakroom, a kitchen/diner, a utility in an external building, and a sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside is nearby permit parking and a west-facing veranda with table, chairs, large sun-decked terrace, and picnic table. Goronwy Cottage offers a wonderful base in North Wales. Note: This property is over three floors in an elevated position in old Barmouth, with 45 steps leading up to the property. Note: There is no vehicle access to the property, therefore it is not suitable for anyone with mobility problems. Note: Due to the age and nature of the cottage, stairs are a little steeper and narrower than normal and there are some low doorways. Note: No stag/hen parties. Note: Parking permits provide parking, free of charge in nearby car parks. Please note: During UK School Holiday periods the property only accepts a minimum stay of 7-nights.

A variety of shops, pubs and restaurants combined with the mild climate, make this an ideal destination for a holiday, even out of season. There is plenty for walkers, climbers and cyclists, with Mount Cader Idris nearby. An abundance of wildlife along the Mawddach Estuary, trout fishing in mountain lakes, Harlech Castle, St David’s golf course and Portmeirion Italianate village are among some of the best attractions in the area.
