Bright & Airy Countryside Cabin Near Oxford, Perfect Getaway with Scenic Views - Pass the Keys

Close to location I wanted to be. Lovely country outlook.

No bath towels supplied. Not enough toilet rolls supplied for a 3 night stay. Difficult to move heavy suitcases over loose stones from car to the cabin.

Lovely bright and airy property located in Stanton St John with beautiful views and countryside just a few steps from the front door. The room was big yet cosy, and would warm up/cool down nicely which made it very comfy. Generous parking in the front (even for a very large car like mine) and quick, easy access to central Oxford make this place ideal for anyone looking to stay for business or leisure. This place was a lot cheaper (and 100x nicer) than other properties we saw when looking to book so we're glad we chose the perfect spot!

Unfortunately not having a freezer, washing machine or oven does make longer term stays a bit more difficult but it's still definitely manageable. We brought our own airfryer and had to visit home a few times so for us it wasn't a major issue.

Couldn’t find ironing board or iron.

Location to all the things we wanted to do was good. Inside was clean, bed comfy. Previous reviews worried us, but it seams they had completed a few repairs such as Bathroom . Welcome pack of Coffee, milk and biscuits. We didn't see the family of the house, even though they were in, as per past reviews.. we were worried about that.. but no issue.

Hosts = I would suggest having a welcome pack that includes maps, places to visit, local pubs, restaurants .. as the binder was of the cabin pass rating on electrics etc.. not really suitable as a welcome pack.. Cabin, advert says cosy seating area, you can not class two dining chair and a table as this, you need two wingback chairs or sofa for two to relax on an evening, can you sit all evening on a dining chair ? the TV has to be turned off at the plug than remote so if your in bed, and ready to go to sleep, you have to get up turn it off and try and make your way back in the dark into bed. Advert is misleading - The cabin is in someone's garden, at the side of their house, near their rear door, you can not really sit outside, we felt very uncomfortable as the setting area it as the side of their rear door and access to their garden. Therefore the advert should say no outside space, its access to the cabin only, as it's not really an outside private space for this cabin, you can make this a private outside space, it easy to do. There is NO view... from the cabin, again photos misleading... so it's a base only. We decided to leave our dog with the sitter at home, had planned to take the dog, who is a very small sausage, we are glad we didn't, due to outside space, and the family have a cat which we met a few times. This needs to be clear on the information. we booked three nights, stayed two nights.. and came home... we wouldn't select this venue again. We like to sit outside alot, and felt we couldn't.
