This place is perfectly located for exploring Oxford. Just 0.5 miles (10 minutes) from the Magdalen bridge. The area is a vibrant mix of students and workers. Lots of amazing restaurants (two Michelin listed close by), and pretty much every type of food. The manager here is fabulous. The cleaning crew had forgotten to stock the unit with coffee, tea, and such, and the manager had a delivery from Sainsburys to us within just 30 minutes. A broken bedframe was fixed with an entirely new bed and mattress the same day. This unit is top floor, so 37 steps. The main window looks over at Oriel College graduate student accommodation. Just down the street (90 steps) is The Star pub, widely regarded as the Best pub in East Oxford, and we can attest to that. We stayed 6 1/2 weeks here and really enjoyed the unit. We did sleep with a sound machine, as it can get noisy (students and locals).

The carpet could use a deep clean. The area is safe, but you do get a WIDE range of individuals.

Very Good spot ! Wonderful Pub is just steps away and many restaurant s are found on the street. Also bus station is located and easy to use. Center area of Oxford can be reached by walk, too.

Since colleges are very nearby, it was a little bit noisy during the night time, but it is usually OK. For some people, it would be better to have ear plugs for more deep sleep. Kitchen and bathroom is generally clean. Personally, it would be better if you have kind of chopsticks and scoop.
