Nice hideaway, good value.

Nice location. The bed and chairs were comfortable and the facilities were good. We did not meet the owners, but the instructions they sent to us were clear and comprehensive.

The radiator in the bedroom seemed to work a bit erratically and the towel rail in the bathroom barely warmed up.

Charming place, would stay again

We loved the look and feel of the Hideaway, it was very cosy and felt very secluded. The Northern Lights machine/light was a big hit! The shower room was nice and spacious and the bed was comfortable. I loved seeing the farm animals nearby.

More gentle lighting in the living room area would have been nice, and there were no blinds on the windows in that room.

My boyfriend used all the hot water!! And I think we are used to a bigger bed, but it was cosy, warm and eventually the hot water refilled 😄

Lovely location, very clean and cosy and excellent value for money.

Hearing was not on on arrival however it soon heated up in plenty of time as it’s so small and cosy it wasn’t an issue!

Hideaway bliss!

Everything was thought of, even down to charging cables. Lovely warm welcome, special effort made for my 60th birthday. Cosy, comfortable, thought given to detail, really can't fault the property or hosts. Can't wait to return.

Lovely, Pleasant Break away

Really enjoyed our stay. The hideaway was very private. Accommodation was perfect. Shower is really lovely. All kitchen/cooking facilities were good and we ate most nights in the hideaway. TV and Wi-Fi were great also board games etc were available. Outdoor seating area and barbecue available. Lovely location and great base for visiting durdle door, tank museum, Poole and surrounding areas. Great value and would definitely stay again. Highly recommended. Thank you🌟🌟🌟

Tucked away little gem

Perfect place to stay after a trip to the coast, not wanting to drive back the same day. The Hideaway is small but comfy and the owners have tried to think of everything. This is our 2nd stay and will be back again.

Beautiful cabin in tranquil countryside setting

Beautiful cabin - this was a repeat booking for me and since I last stayed they have added a living area and kitchenette, and I’d already thought it was brilliant before those were added when I stayed last year! The cabin is on a property that’s also operating as a stable yard / farm, and there are other wooden guest cabins around but spaced pretty far apart and so it’s really private and cosy, especially with the private walkway up to the main door and the little seating area with a bbq outside. I can’t say enough nice things honestly, it’s all been built and decorated with such care and thought, right down to the reclaimed wood desk and vanity, it feels really special here.

Idyllic overnight stay in beautiful location

Perfect for an overnight stay whilst visiting family in Dorset. Beautiful, quiet countryside location but not too far from the village of Lychett Matravers. Hideaway had everything we needed and is exceptional value for money. Loved the duckpond and the farm location. We will definitely be coming back again!

The Hideaway was perfect for our night stop but we wished we could stay longer. Everything had been thought through to give guests perfect comfort and address all needs - even a universal phone charger!
