About this apartment rental
Just about 50 meters from the Alter Strom in Warnemünde and a few minutes from the beach, our "Käpt’n Claus" vacation rental awaits you, offering a stunning view from the large terrace. A bus stop and shopping options are just a few steps away. Perfect for two! Dear guests, welcome!
We offer you a cozy vacation apartment with a terrace in the beautiful Baltic Sea resort of Warnemünde. The apartment is located in a quiet section of the Alter Strom and just a few minutes from the Baltic Sea beach.
Käpt’n Claus: Located on the first floor (rear building), approx. 70 square meters of living space, featuring a living room (sleep sofa, TV, free Wi-Fi, dining area), a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed (which pulls out into a double bed), kitchen (stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle), bathroom with shower, washing machine, and hair dryer, and a separate toilet. The large terrace is perfect for relaxing.
The house, which housed the post office in the 19th century, is over 150 years old. The vacation rental, which was renovated in 2024, captivates with its authentic charm.
You’ll feel right at home!
The vacation rental is reserved for non-smokers.
The apartment’s initial amenities include one set of linens per person,
(included in the final invoice price: bed linens, towels,, dish towels, shower mat).
At Friedrich-Barnewitz-Str. 9, you can rent enclosed parking spaces from us starting at 6 € per night.
A bakery, weekly market, boat rental, pharmacy, supermarket, restaurants, shops, post office, Alter Strom, etc.—everything is just around the corner.

Visitor’s tax starting at 01.09.2023 in Rostock + Warnemünde:
Adults 15 and older: 3.70 €/day
People with severe disabilities 50% or more: €1.45/day
Children ages 6–14: €1.45/day
Exempt from tourist tax: Severely disabled 80% or higher; accompanying persons only if the person with a severe disability is 100% disabled and has a registered caregiver
Children up to age 5, business travelers, athletes, conference attendees, travelers passing through, locals
Additional services that can be booked directly with the rental company upon request for a separate fee:
- High chair/each: €2.00 one-time fee
- Travel crib (without mattress or bedding): €2.50 per night
