Asakusa Stay

Alles was schoon! En alle spullen die we nodig hadden waren aanwezig

This was a great location for a first visit to Japan. It was far enough away from the hustle of Tokyo and very comfortable room. It was well presented and very clean and tidy. Asakusa is a perfect location for families or those that want a slower side to staying in Tokyo. This accomodation was perfectly located and only a very short walk to some of Tokyo's best attractions. Multiple trains were very close but you can walk to so many things. Senso-ji Temple, Nakamise Street, Viral pancake place, Ninja and Samurai museum and so much more. Family Mart and Lawson's also very close!

When other reviews said steep stairs, they were not joking! The initial stairs up are fine but the second/ third lot were like being in a treehouse and I honestly would not recommend for anyone that has mobility issues. We were all able bodied and it was even a lot for us. They are basically a vertical incline! The fact that it was actually 2 separte rooms on separate floors that had locked doors on each and not all in one. It was ok as our kids are 9/13 and they enjoyed the space upstairs in the bedroom but not sure about smaller kids. There was a washing machine/ dryer combo but the dryer was not working properly no matter how hard we tried. It was raining alot too while we were there so our place had clothes everywhere but we found a local laundrymat which was amazing. That was the only downfall, however I would definitely still stay here again based off location, cleanliness.

Great amount of space for a family of 4. Able to drop luggage early. Lots of amenities and easy walking to Senso-ji temple, Nakamise Shopping Street and Kappabashi street. Also an easy walking to train.

Be mindful of steep staircase. Note that living/dining is on separate level to bedrooms with separate locked entry - not necessarily a negative, but something to be aware of. Also hot water may require a switch (in the bedroom, behind curtain) that we didn’t know about.

L espace et la situation. Prioritaire très agréable et arrangeant.

Les escaliers sont très pentus mais plus à préciser car ce n’est pas un point négatif non plus.
