Location was great, host was extremely courteous and helpful.

Location, location, location… and the room was practically perfect, too. The bed was comfy, the AC worked well, and I definitely soaked in the deep tub at the end of each day before donning my yukata and melting into a restful sleep.

Great location in Asakusa with reasonable prices. Quick check in and decent available amenities.

The entire building smelled of cigarette smoke. The owner said it blew in from the street however, working in real estate, I’ve been in enough properties to know when there has been smoking indoors for a long time and at no point did we see folks smoking outside, let alone the amount required to have that level of smell (we stayed here twice and it was quite evident both times). There is mold growing around the window sills so take care if you have any respiratory issues. The male owner is abrupt and can come off as rude- it was our last night in Japan and it was quite jarring relative to the rest of our experience. I understand working in tourism can be exhausting but the behaviour was unwarranted and had a negative impact as a bookend to our experience.
