Sophrosyne Haven - Cozy 2BR for 4 - Kazimierz

The property is nice, modern, well equipped in the kitchen, and has a fab location. Tram stop literally outside and only a short walk to the main square in the Old Town. Plus a nice walk to Kazimierz. Even though it was on a busy road, it wasn’t that noisy. Easy to check in and out, constant communication from the owners.

I know it’s in all of the reviews, but that bathroom is WAY too small. We could just about rotate ourselves to have a shower, but there needs to be floor grips to or something to prevent the water from getting everywhere. The shower curtain is pointless, so would have preferred a door that wasn’t see through glass as we were showering with friends and had to get them to look away! We had unusually hot weather during our stay, nearly 40 degrees Celsius so the apartment was unbearably hot. There were two standing fans in each room but they were in poor repair and didn’t really help, even with the windows open. There’s an air con unit in one room but obviously it doesn’t work, as it wasn’t listed on the facilities list so we didn’t expect it, but it would have helped if it worked in that weather. The apartment is on the 4th floor and even being quite fit after walking around a lot then having to go up those stairs it takes it out of you haha.

Excellent central location. Clean, basic, newly renovated and good value for money.

There are many flights of stairs to access the apartment, there is no lift. This might be very difficult for older or disabled people. The air conditioning did not work.

Location, decent beds, good sound proofing

The pictures dont show HOW tiny it is. Bathroom is ridiculously small. Also - no wardrobes, closets etc
