Tri-Star House

The caravan was in good condition and had everything we needed. The living area was comfortable and the kitchen was well laid out (with a small welcome pack with a few essentials). The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom had towels and a powerful shower. The park itself was very quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony to eat our evening meal. The site was well maintained with no litter anywhere. The location provided a good base to explore the area. During our stay we visited several beautiful locations and I would definitely come back again.

The wifi did not work. We contacted the number for help and a technician came out but was unable to fix it. Apparently the next step was for the owners to look into it but it was not fixed during our stay. The mobile signal in the area was quite weak and so having wifi would have been helpful as we use our mobiles to look up places to visit.

Good location and facilities

Second bedroom small but adequate for children

Wonderful location close to the main fossil hunting grounds. The site is peaceful and has some nice walks, play areas and a cafe. Free entry indoor pool onsite was a big plus. The caravan itself was clean and well equipped.

The caravan is not new and the front door always gets stuck, that can create a big problem if one needs to escape the caravan quickly in case of an emergency - the hosts should look into that asap.

Campsite very nice and clean, well kept. Bathroom was lovely. Single beds okay. Kitchen area workable.

Main bedroom mattress springs nearly coming through one side. Duvet covered top of mattress only, not long enough or wide enough. Gas boiler last serviced March 2025 as sticker said on boiler. No chest of drawers in bedrooms. Bare essentials in kitchen so no jugs or lge cutting board. Vacuum cleaner had no suction. Place needs some TLC but did have leaflet inside saying that it's up for sale which explains a lot.
