WE Hotel Family House

Very beautiful, clean, and spacious. Conveniently located, with less than a ten-minute walk to the Okubo subway station, a small grocery store (Olympic), and convenience stores. The owner told us the check-in procedure several days beforehand, and was very responsive to messages (on the booking.com app); the owner was also flexible with the check-in time. The place was comfortable and well-supplied with dishes, towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent--everything we might need. We really enjoyed this place.

A minor hiccup: one evening the WiFi didn't seem to work, but the owner had provided redundancy with four WiFi logins, and when I switched to a different login, the WiFi worked fine.

Great location. Tucked away in a quiet street with lots of shops and restaurants just round the corner. Close to train station. Convenience stores very close. Comfortable for our family of 5. Kitchen has everything you need. Clean and comfortable all round.

I would have liked more towels

It's amazing that the house is in such a quiet neighbourhood yet is so close to the busy hub of Shinjuku. It's location is brilliant and as a family of 5 there was ample space for us all. Also there is a place to pick up/ drop off Luup scooters/bikes right by the house which we used on one night. The host was super responsive, and even organised a taxi to take us to the airport. The house is also near shops and places to eat.

This wasn't a big issue for us as we were out all day and were only there for 3 nights - to point out that the one of the bedrooms is basically in the living room/kitchen area so anyone who sleeps there gets woken up when the kitchen is used. Also it does have 2 bathrooms but one of them is smaller and doesn't have a mirror, so with 3 teenagers in our family one bathroom got more used than the other!
