Hotel Petit Bali Garden Shin Okubo

The location was really practical. 10min walk to the Higashi-Shinjuku Station. The hotel was in the middle of Korea Town with delicious Restaurants and cute Shops. They offered LOTS!!!! of free little snacks and the alcohol bar was also free of charge. The bed was also extremely comfortable and I slept like a baby :)

There wasn‘t anything particular that I disliked. The rooms are rather small but the services the hotel offers really compensate it.

Nice and homely! Very different to big corporate hotels and had a local vibe. Also great location!

Lots of free items. Nice jet bath. Nice communal relaxing area with bar and snacks for free.

Staff did not offer the usual Japanese-level customer service (ignored customers, no morning or evening greetings). Paid almost double the price because it was NYE - terrible value for money. The property is in a prime tourist hot spot, so I guess many foreigners stay here. However it was challenging as only some things are bilingual. For example, the full serve-yourself bar had no English signage, making it confusing if one could help oneself to the bar, and secondly not having any idea what was in all the bottles. In—room tech was also difficult to navigate.
