Very easy to find- the directions were fab and the signposts were easy to read Comfortable furniture, the kitchen was extremely well equipped and easy to use. The showers were hot, wet and powerful. Incredibly clean. Plenty of parking. Beautifully peaceful location. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again

Quiet and peaceful, well equipped for our family of 4. We loved the birdsong and watching the rabbits. Our neighbours in the other 2 chalets were also really considerate. The property was close to some great days out: Clearwell caves, Forest of Dean sculpture trail, May Hill walk, Goodrich castle, Puzzlewood, Symonds Yat, Ross-on-Wye etc. the old Dairy tearoom did a great afternoon tea! I would have liked to have tried the Yew Tree pub in Longhope too.
The pub had closed down and part of the reason we’d booked was on the strength of the reviews of the pub. The huge coop in Newent did Cook food though so self catering wasn’t too bad.

Lovely cosy lodge, with everything you could need for a relaxing stay in a beautiful quiet location. Lovely and warm, with plenty of hot water. Lots of places to visit within a short drive, would recommend and hope to stay again😊
