The rooms were clean, and the apartment setup was excellent. The pool was an absolute lifesaver in the Rarotonga heat, and overall, we had a very pleasant stay.
We were unaware that air conditioning comes at an additional cost. The owner later informed us that this is stated on the Coral Sands website, but we must have missed it. This was unexpected, as we have not encountered extra charges for air conditioning at any other Pacific island hotel we’ve stayed at.
During the trip, I became unwell due to mosquito bites, which made managing the heat even more crucial, so having air conditioning became essential.
If you’re considering Coral Sands, it’s worth factoring in the extra charge for air conditioning, especially during the warmer months or if you have health needs that require a cooler environment.
Aside from that, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We are a family of 5 and this accommodation suited us perfectly. Geat amount of space in the appartment, clean and tidy. Awesome location with just meters from the absolutely stunning beach. Would highly reccommend this place!!!
