The location was awesome being close to the main town and we definitely appreciated having a car to get to the house as it is on a hill. The host was great with communication and recommendations. The views were amazing and the spacious house was great for a large group. Had almost everything you could need for a happy easy stay!
The house could get very hot at night, the fans and open windows were not always adequate for comfort, however we did expect this before arriving so not a major. The constant noise of roosters and dogs was unexpected, making sleep hard at times.

It's very cozy, and there is plenty of room for my whanau.There were 8 whanau members staying at the accommodation. Deck was large enough for us, and when we had other whanau visitors as well.
The bbq was a little small as there were a lot of us, so it took longer to cook our kai. Also, the driveway was a little small. Visitors had to patk down on the road but was no biggy

The house was beautiful, luxurious and clean. Loved the size of everything, it was perfect for my big family. The kids loved feeding the chickens and the scenery all around the house was beautiful. Nikao beach was a few minutes drive down the road and was my favourite snorkelling spot. Loved the fruit basket, the games, leaflets and even the movies on the tv. All equipment supplied were fully functioning and you are really equipped with so much at the house. I hope we left it in a good state as I would love to come back every year, even if it’s by myself haha.
The driveway wasn’t good for the car we hired, so, make sure you get a car that has good tyres and isn’t low as you have to go up a hill, then up the driveway and then down a bit of a steep driveway. Also, the directions to the house could be simplified better. You can use google maps to get to Tioni William Rd and then look for the sign “Old Navy Houses” on the left towards the top of the hill. Drive up the driveway and then drive down to the bottom house. Or something like that.
Can be quite hot during the hotter months. As the ceiling fans aren’t strong and there’s no aircon. Some extra pedestal fans would be useful.
