Great room. Lots of stairs though

LOTS of stairs. No elevator so be mindful when booking because you will have to carry your suitcase up flights and flights of stairs. Would not recommend if you have mobility issues. It is quite noisy at night so be mindful of that as well. It’s more of a shared space with the chairs being the “relaxing” area and the rooms being right across from each other. They do provide earplugs but you will still hear some of the noise from the street below which is filled with vendors and restaurants. The stop for the shuttle bus to the airport is near by (a two minute walk) so that was very convenient. Self check in was pretty easy, aside from walking up the stairs in the pitch dark. There is a switch on the wall around the second flight of stairs, but we discovered that on our own. The room did have a couple dents in the wall and some browning on the wall in the washroom, so a little wear and tear. But overall the wood ceiling is beautiful and the washroom was nice.

Ideal location for the centre and port. Minutes from Piazza Domenico where you have breakfast. Served with locals, bread meat /cheese, coffee and orange juice. Double room at the top of a long flight of stairs, beware there is no lift! Communal sitting area with coffee machine, microwave and balcony. Room was clean but unfortunately didn't have a balcony outside, instead it had an internal balcony overlooking the communal area?? The room had sky lights. Double bed, shower area, fridge and kettle. Can be noisy at night, the locals do like to play music. Met by the rep Annabel on arrival, friendly and helpful. Explained the security for the apartment and provided a list of local restaurants to consider. We used three, all very good. Suggest when visiting to use the airport bus, 6 euros each way and stops mintues from Le Stanza.

A truly wonderful stay in Palermo. The B&B is set in a beautiful historic building, with tasteful design and an exceptional attention to detail throughout. The location is perfect for exploring the city, yet feels elegant and calm. Annabelle was incredibly friendly and helpful, making everything effortless from start to finish. Breakfast next door in the iconic café was a real highlight and the perfect way to start the day. Highly recommended.
