We opted for the deluxe roof which is on the top floor. It's their cheapest room type but honestly not value for money and we would not have paid for this again and stayed somewhere else at the same price.
1. Aircon - The room was hot when we check-in because of the sun coming in from the skylight, which can be closed but your room will be extremely dark as there are just a few spot lights in the room. We turned on the aircon and blasted it at 18 degrees for an hour+ but the room was so hot and stuffy. It was alot hotter than the aircon in the corridor. We feedback to the staff and their first reaction was asking us to pay extra to upgrade to another deluxe type room. When we refused, they sent a technician to check and he said to just let the aircon run longer. When we came back at night, the room was cooler than before but still not cold as the aircon was blowing semi-warm air. We went to the counter again to feedback to the night shift staff. They immediately understood the issue and told us the room's aircon is centrally controlled at 25-26 degrees. They then asked us what temperature would work for us and we finally had cold air from the aircon for the night. However, as there is only 1 aircon at the door, 1 part of the bed will not be able to get the aircon which made it stuffy throughout the night,
Amenities - Everything is paid for, including bottled water.
Shower - As we are on the top floor, water pressure was extremely weak and felt like trickles. The door is also not designed properly, so water kept flowing out to the toilet area. Our floormat was totally soaked.
Hotel is nicely designed and in a good location, which is the only plus side.

Beautiful clean room, great location, helpful staff and one of the best breakfasts we had during our entire stay in Sicily. The bathroom was a little smaller than optimum, but as we're almost never in our hotel room while traveling, it wasn't a big deal.
