    Would recommend as it right next to the station, and there are alternative transport other than jr, metro and the tsukuba express str to asakusa 4 mins

    Good for travelling to around to other areas in Tokyo as the hotel is very near to JR stations.

    I've been visiting Japan since 2019 but it's only now that I've found the perfect hotel to stay at. It's this one. Nearly everything is perfect for my needs. The location's great, the staff is polite and courteous, the room's big enough (for Tokyo), the hotel provides a ton of amenities (including face masks and bath salts!) and it has facilities (such as coin laundry) that comes in handy for longer stays. The issue that takes a star away is that their coin laundry has only THREE machines and there's no way to tell if any or all of them are in use, or if they're finishing up without manually going down to Level 3 and checking for yourself. I've been to hotels in Japan where it was possible to check up on laundry status through the TV and hope that JR East Hotel Mets Premiere Akihabara will look into implementing this feature. It was a pain for me during my visit, as I was up on the 7th floor (the hotel goes up to 9th) AND at the end of the loooooooong corridor, away from the lift lobby. Also, the staff needs to maintain a stronger vigil on the usage of the coin laundry machines. An inconsiderate guest left their laundry in a machine for nearly 40 minutes without taking it out, meaning NOBODY else could use it as it had a built-in pin lock. The other machines were in use, so I was SOL. I wasted a ton of time just waiting for no good reason. I had to get the staff to manually remove the laundry so I could use it. With only 3 machines available, this was a massive annoyance. I've never had this issue with any other hotels I've stayed at in Japan. The hotel needs to add more coin laundry machines and implement regular staff checks on them. Guests can't be expected to be getting hotel staff to remove other peoples laundry every single time. We're guests, not paid staff! Apart from those issues, I can't recommend the hotel enough. When I come back to Japan for TGS again next year, this is where I'll be staying for sure.
