Moorlands

We just returned from our stay at Moorlands over the May Bank Holiday weekend. We were two families with three children and had hired two apartments at the property. It was a lovely and comfortable place with all the home-like amenities you could need — every detail had clearly been carefully thought through. We arrived quite late on Friday due to the Bank Holiday and half-term traffic, but the owner, Mark, was there to greet us at check-in (well past 11pm) and helped us settle in straight away. Both Mark and Desi, his wife, were always available whenever we needed advice on planning our day or had any questions about the property itself. Their hospitality genuinely made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The Moorlands is a beautiful property in a fantastic location, perfect for families looking for a relaxing break. The apartments were clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you again to Mark and Desi for making our holiday so enjoyable — we would definitely love to return in the future.

Excellent guesthouse/B&B. Beautiful location in the countryside. Outstanding gardens. Dedicated car park. Very clean and well organised. Lovely hosts. No more to be said.

We really liked the place.The owners are very talkative and friendly. Always willing to help with anything. We rented the apartment and it was very well equipped. It even had its own picnic bench for relaxing. Having a drink outside. The place is super quiet and great for getting away from the city for a few days. I highly recommend it.
