Moorlands

What an absolutely amazing place! Moorlands completely exceeded our expectations and we had such a lovely stay. The setting is beautiful, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and we were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was incredible — genuinely one of the highlights of our stay! Nothing seemed like too much trouble, and they even made pancakes especially for the kids, which they absolutely loved. It’s those little personal touches that make somewhere really special. We’ve had a fantastic time and honestly didn’t want to leave. Moorlands is an absolute gem and we cannot wait to return! Highly recommended.

Nothing at all! We genuinely couldn’t fault our stay. Everything was fantastic from start to finish, and we only wish we could have stayed longer.

The apartment within the hotel was a two bedroom with bathroom/shower lounge dining and kitchenette. It was beautifully furnished with all equipment needed for a home from home. The grounds were stunning with mature trees and shrubbery. Also a short path to a private gate onto the platform of the The Lynton and Barnstaple narrow gauge railway.

The location was lovely with access to the steam railway just moments away. There were lots of lovely touches to make everything go smoothly - a welcome box with yummy jam and snacks as well as oil and seasonings with washing up equipment available. The team couldn’t do enough for us and made our stay perfect.
