    Great location and good value for money. The staff can speak English and are very accommodating and helpful. Luggage can also be kept in the storage area in the lobby. The only thing that could be improved is having a lift or elevator to make it easier to transport luggage, especially for guests with heavy bags.

    Straight & Honest Review – Hostel Jazz, Tokyo 🇯🇵 Hostel Jazz is a decent option if you’re looking for a budget-friendly place to stay in Tokyo. The place is simple and the overall experience was okay, but there are a few rules and limitations that travelers should know before booking. One of the main downsides is the quiet time from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. If you come back late at night, you need to be mindful of the noise, which can be a little inconvenient, especially if you’ve been out exploring Tokyo all day. Another thing to note is the shower arrangement. If you arrive late in the evening, you’re not allowed to use the shower room upstairs and need to go downstairs to take a shower. This can be inconvenient, especially when you’re already tired and just want to shower and rest. Other than those points, the hostel is fairly straightforward and works if your priority is having an affordable place to sleep while spending most of your time outside exploring Tokyo.

    I did online check-in and created a QR code. I uploaded my passport to the system. Despite this, during check-in at the hotel, they checked my passport, took a passport photo, and completed the check-in confirmation process. Why was online check-in necessary in this situation? I stayed for 5 nights. I didn't feel very comfortable. The men's dorm room was on the 3rd floor. It was difficult to carry luggage without an elevator. The fact that the bathrooms and toilets were inside the dorm room was a significant problem. There were two bathrooms in a room with about 20 people. The bathrooms were very small. On my 4th night, the room with the toilet and sink was locked around 10 pm. Because of this, I went down to the ground floor to use the toilet. There was only one toilet there, so people were waiting in line. The cleaners were doing their job; thank you for your services. I asked for new towels every day, and they were provided. Not so bad, but could be better. Some people staying at the hotel were acting very irresponsibly. Even at 1 am, they were acting without any regard. Many people were deliberately farting. While one person was farting, others were doing it too. I sincerely apologize. I don't hold the hotel responsible for this, but there are very irresponsible and annoying people staying there. Many other capsule hotels are the same by the way.
