Stairs were a bit steep and uneven but in line with age of the property. I am in my late 70s but did manage them okay

This was one of the most peaceful places I've stayed. The house is incredibly quiet —I actually thought the owner had gone out in the morning, but she was simply in the kitchen! If you're looking for a restful stay, this is the perfect place. The host is absolutely lovely and made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived. She kindly allowed me to use the kitchen to prepare my meals, which I really appreciated. And, of course, a special mention goes to her adorable cat, Luna, who made the stay even more enjoyable. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the house itself is beautifully decorated, full of charm and character. It feels warm, elegant, and genuinely homely. Parking couldn't be easier either. The house is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, so there is private parking right in front of the property with no hassle at all. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, welcoming, and charming place to stay.

I had a wonderful stay and would happily return. I originally made a mistake with my booking and reserved only one night instead of two. Fortunately, when I arrived, the room was still available, and the owner, Georgia, was incredibly kind and accommodating. She prepared everything immediately, which I really appreciated after a long journey. The hospitality throughout my stay was exceptional: warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. The room was exactly as shown in the pictures. The beautiful four-poster bed and the carefully chosen décor gave the impression of staying in a historic country house or small castle. Everything was furnished with great taste and in a way that perfectly suited the character and history of the property. The room was also wonderfully quiet, ensuring a very restful night's sleep. The ensuite bathroom was spotless and equipped with everything I needed. On my second evening, I had some work to finish, and I was able to use the dining room comfortably. The whole house has a peaceful, cosy atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and feel at home. And finally, an extra bonus for cat lovers: Luna, the resident cat, is absolutely adorable and knows exactly how to charm guests into giving her a few cuddles! A truly lovely place to stay, with outstanding hospitality and plenty of character.

Absolutely stunning house. I felt genuinely privileged to be able to spend the night in such a beautiful home with such character and charm. Georgia the host was as welcoming and helpful as she could be, and Luna the gorgeous cat gave me the best greeting into the house.
