Zenroom Apartments

A small but affordable apartment right in the centre of Ljubljana. Everything was clean and comfortable, with all the essentials provided. Great value for the location and price.

The view from the window could be better, but with this central location and price, I wouldn’t really expect more.

Nothing really!

We had a great stay at this beautiful semi-basement loft which was located only a few minutes by foot from the center . The space was cozy and very well cared for. The hosts, were incredibly sweet and welcoming, especially Sarah’s dad, who was an absolute sweetheart and really willing to help in any way possible.

Our only suggestion would be to add a handrail or some kind of protective railing on the stairs, as this would make them feel a little safer and more comfortable to use. Other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay!

The location of the building is close to the Dragon Bridge.

The apartment is very small, in every respect. It would appear to be a converted cellar. The living room/kitchenette area is very small. The bathroom is tiny. The shower head is quite low and sticking out from the low ceiling, and looks like it is ready to fall out. The power point in the bathroom is broken and hanging out of the wall. We consider this to be dangerous. The staff advised that they will attend to the shower head and power point, but we don't know if they did or will do that. The internal stairs from the front door in/out of the unit and the stairs to/from the bed/loft do not have handrails and we consider this to be dangerous. The apartment is showing it's age, but was relatively clean. The kitchenette cupboard under the sink has an odd, damp/musky smell. There is no hanging space in the cupboards. There is a lack of soundproofing between apartments and you get a lot of noise from the apartments around and above you. We cannot recommend this accommodation. In comparison to the 13 previous apartments that we have stayed in over the last 4 weeks, that have a similar rating, we would rate this apartment a 5.
