Ionian Blue House 3BR Retreat Near Myrtos Beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ionian Blue House with our little dog. The peace and quiet we experienced while drinking our morning coffee on the terrace was simply priceless. So was the strategic location near our 3 favorite beaches. Just a 10min drive away lies the jewel of Kefalonia, Myrtos Beach. Agia Kyriaki Beach is another 12min away. On the other side, it’s a 20min drive to Karavomilos Beach and the Melissani Cave. The villa is clean, has excellent Wi-Fi, air conditioning, washing mashine, mosquito nets, parking space and more spacious than one might think, with 3 bedrooms, a large terrace, 2 toilets, and a shower. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything what´s needed, and if we were missing anything, the host’s father—the ever so lovely Mr. Panagiotis—was immediately on hand to accommodate us. Although there’s a road in front of the house, it’s very quiet because the main connecting road runs through the valley below. Even the 35-minute distance to Argostoli didn’t bother us, since we found very good family-run restaurants in the surrounding villages whenever we were too tired to drive for long. Perhaps a dishwasher would be the only thing that could be improved next year. But honestly, even that pales in comparison to the fact that we were blown away by how welcoming and considered Babis and Mr. Panagiotis with his sweet smile were. Thank you so much to you both! You are a 20/10. We will be back ;)

Breathtaking views and a pretty nice location, quiet and calm. Close enough by car to both sides of the island. Perhaps the nearby population nuclei lack certain things like a good supermarket, but it is worth it for the views from the house. The owners were extremely welcoming and very nice.

Honestly nothing, a very pleasant experience altogether.

וילה גדולה, מרווחת ונוחה, נקייה מאוד. נוף מרהיב להרים, מיקום טוב. במקרר חיכו לנו פינוקים - יוגורטים, דבש ועוד... מרפסת ענקית עם ריהוט חוץ כייפי. בפנים יש כל מה שצריך, מטבח מאובזר, חדרים גדולים, מזגן בכל חדר ובסלון, פינות ישיבה נוחות.

המקלחת מאכזבת - אמבטיה עם וילון וברז שצריך להחזיק ביד ואין אפילו איפה לתלות. בוילה כל כך מפנקת זה קצת פוגם .

location was great mountain view with great balcony, very clean and host was very friendly and provided us with extra goodies (yoghurts, drinks etc)...safe and quiet location easy access and almopst central to the island, villages nearby had great food taverns
