Kanakis Apartments

Absolutely wonderful location, overlooking the sea - south facing balcony and terraces so sun all day long (an awning for shade would have been a nice addition). The apartment was clean, spacious, well furnished and well equipped. We are not always keen on taking breakfast, but what was served here was simply fantastic - a freshly prepared feast with variations every day.

We would have scored 10/10 but unfortunately the bathroom is in need of updating, particularly the shower cubicle - the tray is badly corroded and the sealant is old. messy and does not prevent water seeping out, therefore we had wet floors to contend with every day.

The apartment had an amazing view and situated perfectly for the village, Swimming pool was great, breakfast was amazing every day. Staff extremely responsive and polite.

The bathroom was a bit dated as was the furniture in the lounge and the bedroom, I believe these were about to be replaced tho, it didn't affect our stay .

The apartment was in a small apartment complex on a hillside above Assos harbour. The views across the water from our living room and bedroom were absolutely spectacular. Each apartment had its own outdoor courtyard/ sitting area and some had balconies. We were very lucky, that although our apartment was small, we had both a balcony and a courtyard. The living area had a small sofa and 2 chairs, although unfortunately neither of the chairs were usable as they appeared to be damaged or just very wonky. The bedroom was bright and comfortable. There was a also a small pool and pool deck overlooking the ocean. It was a 5 minute walk downhill to the stunning Assos Beach and similar to the small but very picturesque Assos village. Beautiful, beautiful stay.

The bathroom was very compact and a little smelly. Worth noting, you need to have a relative level of fitness, especially if you're visiting in hot weather, as the trip back to the apartment from the village or beach is quite steep (although short).

The breakfast is amazing and brought to your private terrace!!! The setting, the incredible view over the sea and distant mountains, the sunset position and comfortable bed, swimming pool water was not cold and plenty of space to sit around it

It was incredibly dated inside and needs a total makeover, 80s style bathroom and kitchen/living area with the shower enclosure degrading at the frame because of age, otherwise it would have got a 10. The price for late season is too high for the accommodation offered
