Recently added waterfall to the spring pond. The sound is amazing to relax to as well as circulating the water to deter mosquitoes.

My dog, Wizard, and I were looking for someplace to just get away from all the craziness. I am a 75-year-old-woman who has camped out many, many times. From now on I will be glamping and most likely at this location. The yurt is located in an area surrounded by trees. It is nicely set-up and has a bed that I wanted to take home, it was SO comfortable. There is a tented area for cooking with a very large grill.
I think what I loved most were the creative items in the area. There is a pond with lots of little frogs and water pours into the pond through an upright piano! There is a chandelier hanging from a tree that lights up at night. There are other creative items that you can discover when you are there.
During the day I could hear all kinds of bird calls and at night there was the bleating of the sheep.
I read two novels while I was there and at night I sat by the fire and looked up at the stars.
I will definitely go back.
PS - Wizard had a fabulous time too!

Our family enjoyed a quick stay at this unique property to get away from the city and celebrate a birthday. Hosts were thoughtful (bday surprises!) and communicative. The space was comfortable and easy to navigate.

We enjoyed our stay in Wilson very much. We used the Yurt campground as a base as we explored nearby trout streams, Menomonie and River Falls. The yurt was clean, spacious and romantic. There was ample firewood for a campfire. We were not able to use the solar shower as it was too cool. Communication with the host was timely and thorough. I recommend this site if you want an upgrade from a tent experience, love the outdoors and want to avoid the traditional hotel room.
