Liverpool 4 Bed Home Sleeps 18 Free Parking

The property was clean and tidy and ideal for our stay. The photos reflected the property itself and was neatly presented. Ideally located if you are going to Anfield as a short walk away. We were all very happy with the accommodation. The on street parking was good and got a spot right outside the house.

only small issue were the pool cues as they were missing the tips, but didn't impact on the stay and enjoyment.

The house generally needs a bit of TLC, ripped carpets, peeling wallpaper, cupboard doors missing in the kitchen, animal mess in the garden and a broken door. The toaster does not work either. Parking - advert states free parking etc. This was one permit only in a heavily permitted area. Given the house sleeps 18 people it is fair to say that there will be multiple cars, there should be more permits or this should be more clearly advertised. There is no free car parking, parking on drives for one weekend via justpark would have been £100 for the additional two vehicles. We had no choice but to leave our cars 15 mins away at the Olympia carpark. I did speak to the host but the free parking details he provided were an hour walk away. Security, the front door is very flimsy and rattly in the frame and the window on the bottom bedroom had no handle and so unable to be locked, not great for security given the scaffold that was erected outside the window so easy access for anyone! There is only one bathroom, which is a struggle with so many people. There are not enough seats for everyone to sit together in the lounge and there are no tips on the pool cue so we couldn't use the pool table. very overpriced for the standard of accommodation.

Purpose of our visit was to see family in Liverpool/ Wigan. Two did the Anfield tour. Great location for Anfield Stadium and buses into the city centre. Easy check in. Nice and clean. The house has fairly steep stairs and a step between some rooms. Not a problem for us, though our toddler took a tumble once or twice. Nice rooms. The beds were so comfortable that my daughter wanted to take her bed back with us ! Ha! A few teething problems ( owner very responsive) but really good value for our stay.

Be aware that only one parking permit available and whole area has parking restrictions September to July as near Anfield. We had two vehicles as there was 8 of us. Iron provided but didn't find an ironing board. Broken toilet seat in the downstairs toilet. Table for two in kitchen but can use the pool table which has chairs provided. As someone else said, we would have preferred the pool table wasn't there so we could relax in the lounge as a big group more easily. The lads said the pool table was on a bit of a slope and cues had no tips anyway so they didn't use it.

Arrived on a Friday evening and parked up outside the property and entered as per clear instruction provided. Everything was perfect and we unloaded all luggage and went outside and caught a N026 bus to the town centre and explored the Albert Dock and centre. Jumped back on a NO27 bus to the 2nd stop on Belmont Road right outside the property.Saturday we jumped on a NO27 bus and this took us to Anfield Stadium within minutes. This property was a perfect location for us and easily walkable for match days and stadium tours. Would definately recommend for Liverpool visit and would definately book the property again.

Although the pool table was good for our family i think it is a big space taker and prevents being able to relax properly in the lounge.
