Mermaid Escape - Amazing Views!

The views are absolutely breathtaking. Every time we returned, it felt like coming back to paradise. The villa was spotless, smelled wonderful, and was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. Having a full kitchen, washer and dryer, reliable hot water, and excellent air conditioning made it feel like a luxury home away from home. We loved falling asleep to the sound of the ocean and appreciated how peaceful and quiet the resort was. The two on-site restaurants, private beach, and pools made it an incredible value. It was the perfect romantic escape, and we would absolutely stay here again.

Honestly, we enjoyed everything. For the sake of this question, a dishwasher would have been a nice addition, but the kitchen was well-equipped, so washing dishes by hand was easy enough.

What an absolutely stunning view; we couldn’t have been happier with our stay! The location was amazing and super easy to get to, with so many cool places to check out nearby including the beaches (Sapphire was beautiful) and great restaurants (we loved Lionfish at the resort!). The pools on property were also great. Greg and Allison were such lovely hosts as well and made sure we had everything we needed. The place was clean and welcoming, the AC worked great, and the view truly can’t be captured in photos. We hated to leave!

No cons!

We could not have asked for a better location or better hosts. The view from the apartment is spectacular and one of the best views we saw on our entire trip. The apartment itself was pristine, clean, and chock-full of useful supplies that Greg and Allison thoughtfully supplied, including grocery bags, bug spray, sunscreen, aloe and burn relief spray, beach towels, shower supplies, extra blankets, coffee, a resort map, and a binder with activity and location suggestions. The bed was so comfortable that we overslept our first two days there, and the water in the showers gets hot quickly. Coki beach is a short 9 minute walk away. Redhook is about a 15 minute drive away by taxi. Taxis are easy to call yourself or through the resort's lobby (which also has a small shop with an ATM, sunscreen/bug spray, snacks and a few drinks). In Redbook, Moe's Fresh Market had all the groceries I was accustomed to seeing at a King Soopers in Denver. There are also tons of fun bars and restaurants in Redhook. You must try Duffy's Love Shack! Greg and Allison themselves were very responsive to all my questions and seem like great people all around. As I said, we could not have asked for a better stay or better hosts.

Absolutely nothing.

Great hillside location with nearby pools and exceptional views from private balcony looking across Water Bay. Quiet location above and away from main roads. Furnishings are like new, clean, thoughtful and state of the art. Parking spaces are available nearby, no parking fee or daily resort fee. Convenient to Smith Bay Beach, Sapphire Beach, and Red Hook.
