Ultimate convenience plus magic views!

The property is very central and the views were magnificent, just a little walk to the promenade which is a big positive as well as shops below. Big spacious rooms with beautiful sea views so all in all positive. There was WiFi and fans were a necessary and welcomed appliance.

I think the bath and overhead shower servicing both rooms was a negative. No mirror in the main bedroom was missed. The road is also extremely noisy ( I am from SA so I do know this ) but international guests may not know. I think the main negativity is the single, dated bathroom shower and basic facilities.

The location was fantastic! The plaza that the building is part of has a gluten free bakery which was very nice. It is a block away from the promenade. It's close to many cafes and restaurants. The host is kind and responsive.

The building itself had issues. For three days the elevator wasn't able to go down to the ground floor. One evening the elevator wasn't working at all. If you want to leave outside of the plaza opening hours, then you have to go out the back which adds a few minutes to get to the main road and was difficult with a stroller on the days the elevator wasn't going to the ground floor. The pick n pay grocery store closed the day after we arrived. It will be closed for 7 months for renovations. So that convenience is lost. The apartment needs some upkeep. For example, the shower curtains were too long and a couple of rings holding them at the top weren't attached because the curtains were ripped. Like this is a cheap and easy fix. A couple of the closet doors wouldn't stay closed. The blinds weren't dark enough to keep all light out. As there is no air conditioning, a few nights were too hot and humid such that the fans weren't enough and we had a very bad sleep. The sink in the main bathroom drains very slowly. We only had one set of keys so we always had to stay together when we left. I felt like I paid a little bit too much for what I got, as the location was great but the facilities weren't. Beds were not so comfortable. It takes a long time from the parking lot to the building, up the slow problem elevator and into the apartment so unloading and loading the car took lots of time

Het appartement was vrij ruim. De kamers hadden genoeg opberg ruimte. De woon/eetkamer was open ingericht. We hebben heel erg van het balkon genoten, zowel ‘s ochtends om even wakker te worden als ‘s avonds nog even een drankje te doen na een lange dag. De keuken had alles wat je nodig hebt op een vakantie. De douch had een fatsoenlijke straal. Een extraatje aan de locatie van het appartement is dat er onder het appartement een heel winkelcentrum ligt met een uitgebreide supermarkt. Wij waren er twee weken en halverwege werd er een gratis schoonmaak aangeboden. Nog nooit zo’n goede schoonmaak gezien.

Er waren een paar dingetjes die kapot gegaan zijn tijdens ons verblijf, zoals dat een lamp het niet deed of de deurklink zat los. Maar deze werden heel snel gemaakt zodra je liet weten wat er kapot gegaan was. Een klein nadeel was dat er geen stopcontact in de badkamer was, dus föhnen of iets moest in de slaapkamers.

Location is convenient with shopping mall downstairs

The bathroom needs a serious revamp. The 2nd bedroom's beds are no longer comfortable. There is a coffee machine, but the mugs dont fit. Suppose that is why the previous guests left the coffee inside the machine :(
