Cinque Terre - House & Garden Paradise

We had a wonderful stay in Volastra. The accommodation was spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything one could possibly need, and more. We were even welcomed with some lovely treats, which was a thoughtful touch. The house is nestled in the picturesque heart of this beautiful medieval village, perched high above the sea. The constant fresh breeze made even the warm day a pleasure, and the views were simply breathtaking. One of my favourite features was the natural garden, where I spent a relaxing morning taking in the scenery. It even has its own traditional stone pizza oven, which looked fantastic. Sadly, I didn’t have enough time to make use of it, but it is a wonderful addition for anyone staying a little longer. A truly charming place, and one I would and will happily return to, for a longer stay.

Honestly, nothing. Everything met or exceeded my expectations.

L’appartement est grand et agréable. Il est très bien équipé, avec tout ce qu’il faut pour un séjour de quelques jours. Les lits sont très confortables. J’ai particulièrement apprécié le calme dans ce charmant, village sans voiture, bien différent des villages touristiques au bord de la mer. il y a en outre deux bons restaurants, tout près; j’avoue une légère, préférence pour le plus simple des deux, l’Arcobaleno.. Les indications pour trouver l’appartement et les clés étaient très claires et Marko a toujours répondu très rapidement et efficacement à nos demandes de renseignements.

Une ou deux petites informations sans grande importance. Dans la grande chambre, il nous a manqué une penderie. Il faut garer la voiture un peu loin de l’appartement, mais je dois dire que nous ne l’avons pas utilisée pendant notre séjour. Nous avons marché et utilisé le bus.
