This newly renovated home secluded on a cul-de-sac and in a safe neighborhood of Albuquerque, is the perfect blend of New Mexico and modern style. 22 minutes from the airport, 20 min to Old Town, 11 min to Sandia Casino and Golf, 6 min to Sandia Peak Tram, 3 min to grocery stores and amenities. This home is next to Elena Gallegos and La Luz Trails with easy access to golf courses and parks.

Sandia Sun was named after the beautiful views of sunsets in Albuquerque. Sandia is spanish for "watermelon" and is believed to have gotten it's name from the pinkish color that lights up the Sandia Mountains on a clear day in New Mexico.
Sandia Sun is situated in a private cul-de-sac in the foothills of Albuquerque surrounded by tranquility and nature. Hiking opportunities like Elena Gallegos, La Luz Trail head, Little Cloud Park and High Desert Park are all nearby. Our location is conveniently situated along Tramway Blvd between Paseo del Norte and Academy Road for seamless access to I-25 and I-40.
Perfect location for traveling nurses, the film industry, remote workers, or Albuquerque tourists and families! This rental is available for both short term and mid term renters. Please message us directly for inquiries longer than 28 days.
Pets - we love welcoming our furry family members, but due to allergies no cats allowed! Please message us prior to booking if you are bringing pets. Guest must agree to our pet ground rules prior to booking.
Inside the house, you will find four unique living spaces creating space for relaxation and comfortability. The living room, kitchen and dining room are open concept as one large room which makes the home feel open but still cozy.
The home has three bedrooms. One large primary suite/primary bath with a walk in shower and free standing tub with spa like amenities. The primary suite includes a smart TV with platforms Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Paramount +, Apple TV and more. The other two bedrooms are equipped with plush bedding and closet space.

Outside we have two sitting areas, one facing the Sandia Mountains in a private courtyard offering unwavering sunset views. The other is in the backyard off the primary suite that is perfect for enjoying a morning cup of coffee or tea.

Great location for getting about around Albuquerque. Even tho it was very near a major road, the house and yard were very quiet and relaxing. We two elderly ladies felt so safe with the house itself and the security patrols. We took easy walks from the house or put our feet up on the patios. We watched hot air balloons rise up over the house next door. The beds were comfy with lots of extra blankets and pillows.The owner couldn't have been nicer nor the house more welcoming. Was just the restful yet fun week we had hoped for.

The property was amazing, clean, and comfortable. It was very spacious, and the outdoor areas were perfect for relaxing and stargazing at night! Would definitely recommend!
