The room itself was a fair size but had no coffee or safe facilities. The bathroom was tiny, I am 5'9 and struggled to get into the shower with the showerhead very close to my head.
There is no staff on site from 6pm-9am but that property is secure, just be mindful that you don't let any drunks into the property from the bar next door.
The location is brilliant, lots of coffee shops, restaurants and two metro stations close by.
Would I stay here again, solo yes with family no.

Strange hotel. I would only recommend for an extremely short stay. The concierge was so nice, but the hotel itself is not worth the price, at all. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms could have used an some additional cleaning, the walls were paper thin so that even guests coughing in the next room could be heard throughout. There was a gaping hole in the hallway and construction began promptly every day at 11:55am. At night one could hear loud stomping, presumably from the floor above, or patrons coming up and down the stairs...overall, I would only recommend for a short stay, and if one plans to mostly be outside of the hotel as the location is great for exploring Madrid.
